Inspired by expedition parkas from the 1960’s, this industrial green Isthmus Parka from Patagonia has been cut to a regular fit with a 100% recycled nylon shell with a PU coating and a durable water repellent finish accompanied by plush high-pile fleece throughout the inside of the body and Thermogreen® insulation in the sleeves. The front is fastened by a two-way centre front zipper with an external storm flap that secures with hidden snap closures, and above the removable hood is lined with warm high-pile fleece for a cosy finish. A woven Patagonia label has been positioned on the left side of the chest above a flap pocket which has been duplicated onto the other side to carry essential items in addition to an internal hidden compartment for valuables. Top loading pockets can be found on either side of the waist with hidden snap fastenings and side entry handwarmer pockets for protection from the cold. The long sleeves have adjustable partially elasticized cuffs with snap buttons that sit comfortably against the skin and around the edge of the body an adjustable interior drawcord helps to seal in warmth.

Both the shell and lining fabrics of this style are certified as bluesign® approved which means no chemicals that are harmful to the planet, workers or end wearers have been used in addition to Fair Trade Certification being awarded to the construction so those who made the design have earned a premium for their labour.
